Katie Todd, LGPC, NCC
Katie "KT" Todd, LGPC, (she/they/he) is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor who completed their Master's degree in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. Utilizing evidence-based techniques and an approach grounded in each client's individual needs, they believe that every person can learn to accept their thoughts and feelings & make meaning through difficult life events.
KT has experience treating individuals and conducting therapy groups & has previously completed clinical training at Complete Wellness, returning to practice as a licensed clinician. While they specialize in treating the mental health concerns of LGBT+ adults, they have experience in treating a wide variety of populations & presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. Their work often centers around helping clients learn to live in accordance with their values & feel more fulfilled from day to day.

KT specializes in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as their primary technique, and also integrates CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) when it would be most effective for a given client. This approach prioritizes understanding the client's experience in their own words, helping clients develop agency, self-compassion, and resilience.
