Mia Jackson, LGPC, NCC, earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Howard University. She is committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive individual counseling to adolescents and adults.
Mia has experience supporting clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including trauma-related stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity development, mood disorders, and other complex emotional experiences. Her professional background as a Crisis Intervention Specialist strengthened her ability to remain grounded while also creating individualized support plans centered on empowerment, growth, and safety.

Approaching therapy through a trauma-informed lens, Mia understands how overwhelming life can feel during moments of crisis and change. She is intentional about creating a space that feels safe, steady, and genuinely supportive. She has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate many life changes. While also welcoming individuals across the lifespan who are seeking clarity, healing, and growth.
Mia's therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate and strengths-based while always grounded in evidence-based approaches. She works alongside her clients to build insight, develop coping skills, and foster resilience, aiming to help them become their most authentic and empowered selves.
