Amanda Weaver, MS, LCPC
Amanda Weaver, LCPC, is a graduate of Johns Hopkins Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She feels strongly about helping members of her community to grow, heal, and feel more confident in their daily lives.
Amanda is an integrative therapist who uses several therapeutic approaches to work with her clients. Her approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian therapy, family systems theory, and mindfulness. She has received specialized training in trauma (TFCBT), parenting strategies, and grief.
Amanda enjoys working with children, families, adults, and couples. For the past three years Amanda has worked with Villa Maria as a therapist with an office within a Baltimore City public school. In this context Amanda has learned a great deal about helping parents work with teachers and administrators to advocate for young clients, ensuring their social and emotional needs are met in class as well as at home.
